Fruit Education Site in Southwest Missouri:*
Year One of workshops and twilight walks is concluded, but plans are underway for Year Two in 2023. Growers, gardeners, and folks who just want to know where their food comes from are invited to join Extension professionals Angela Brattin and Patrick Byers and farmer Lykou Lee at the Lee Farm - 15392 Ibex Road, Neosho, Mo 64850 for free workshops and walks focused on high tunnel strawberries and field plantings of blackberries and elderberries. Dates will be announced in the spring!
Attendees will walk through agricultural fields which are uneven and can be muddy, so wearing sturdy waterproof footwear is encouraged and as well as a walking assist such as hiking canes if you need stability.
