Winter market
The Winter Market (Saturdays from 9 to noon) is held from November through March at the market pavilion - just east of 555 South Main in King Jack Park. Thanks to a grant from the USDA secured by the city, we're enclosed and heated in the winter!
The Winter Market is only cancelled when icy roads make driving dangerous. Cancellations will be posted on the market facebook page.
What do we usually have during the winter?
Fresh local produce grown in our farms high tunnels (they look like Quonset huts covered in clear plastic with the plants planted right in the dirt just like in the fields, only protected from the weather. Typically we’ll have produce like spinach, lettuce, kale, green onions, cilantro and more. Plus meats, baked goods, farm fresh eggs, freshly roasted coffee beans, energy bars, and crafts. Check the market facebook page for a listing of vendors expected each market day.
All farms are inspected to ensure that you’re buying directly from the grower.
All growers of edible food at the Webb City Farmers Market must complete a Food Safety: From Farm to Market course prior to selling at the market.
